Jack Martin

Marketing & Bids Director at Gattaca

Jack Martin has a diverse work experience spanning several roles and industries. Jack started their career at the University of Plymouth Students' Union, where they worked as a Barstaff and Barista from March 2010 to May 2012. In August 2012, they joined Dixons Retail as a Customer Assistant for a brief period of three months.

In 2012, Jack joined Gattaca, where they have held various roles over the years. Jack began as a Bid Writer in November 2012 and worked their way up to becoming a Bid Manager in May 2015. Jack then served as a Senior Bid Manager from February 2017 to August 2017 and later took on the role of Bid Team Leader from August 2017 to March 2019. From March 2019 to January 2022, they held the position of Bids & Marketing Manager. Currently, Jack is the Marketing & Bids Director at Gattaca, starting from January 2022.

Throughout their career, Jack has been responsible for various aspects of marketing and bids, including storytelling, building and managing high-performance teams, demand generation, sales enablement, and opportunity conversion.

Jack Martin first attended St George School in Southampton from 2001 to 2007, where they completed their GCSE qualifications. Subsequently, from 2007 to 2009, they pursued their A levels at Barton Peveril Sixth Form College. Afterward, they attended the University of Plymouth from 2009 to 2012, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in English and Creative Writing.
