Ben Fordham

Ben Fordham is a seasoned professional in airport operations and management with extensive experience in various roles across the aviation industry. Currently serving as the Aerodrome Operations Manager at Gatwick Airport since October 2018, Ben previously held the position of Senior Manager Ramp and Baggage Operations at dnata from April 2015 to September 2018, contributing to one of the world's largest air services providers. Prior to that, Ben worked at Swissport in various capacities from September 2012 to March 2015, including as a Station Operations Manager and Team Operations Manager, where responsibilities included implementing operational plans and ensuring safety and quality standards. Ben's career began in emergency services with the Metropolitan Police, followed by roles in ground handling at Swissport and a technical position as a Precision Tool Engineer.
