Seung-Woo SEO has over 14 years of work experience in software engineering. In 2021, they began working as a Senior Staff Software Engineer at Gauss Labs. From 2010 to 2021, they worked at S-Core, first as a Principal Software Engineer, where they collaborated on all stages of the system development lifecycle and assigned tasks to junior engineers, and then as a Senior Software Engineer, where they increased the number of virtual CPUs in KVM on an ARM processor, achieved a reduction of context switch overhead between the guest OS and host OS in Android virtual machine, and reduced Tizen Linux boot-time. From 2007 to 2010, they worked as a Software Engineer at TmaxCore, where they obtained strong reliability of a file system by developing a journaling layer and implemented a POSIX file system.
Seung-Woo SEO received their undergraduate degree in Computer Science from Seoul National University in 2001-2003. SEUNG-WOO then went on to receive their Bachelor's degree from Seoul National University in 1996-2001, also in Computer Science.
