Basel Zarour

Basel Zarour is a seasoned Project Manager at Gavin & Doherty Geosolutions since July 2022, bringing over 15 years of extensive experience in the engineering and construction sectors. Prior experience includes a lengthy tenure at Petrofac, where Basel served as Delivery Manager, overseeing critical projects such as the $2 billion Duqm refinery project in Oman and the $1.7 billion Jazan Refinery Project in Saudi Arabia. Basel has a solid foundation in project management, having led significant initiatives including the Reggane North Development Project in Algeria valued at $970 million. Basel's technical expertise is complemented by educational qualifications that include a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from Jami't Al-Ba'ath and a Master’s degree in Renewable Energy from Loughborough University, expected in 2025.
