Joann Mavus

Joann Mavus is an accomplished cybersecurity professional with extensive experience in information security and risk management. Currently serving as a Cybersecurity Scientist - Associate at Geisinger since June 2015, Joann leads the Medical Device Cybersecurity Taskforce and has held roles as a Senior Information Security Analyst, ensuring the safety of information systems. Prior to Geisinger, Joann worked as an IT Governance Program Manager at TMG Health, overseeing risk management processes and third-party vendor risk assessments. Previous positions at Prudential Financial included IT Manager roles focused on security, compliance, and technical support, as well as a Classroom Aide position at Greater Nanticoke Area School. Joann holds a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics from Commonwealth University-Bloomsburg and an MBA from Misericordia University.
