René Kees has extensive experience in the fields of environmental development and legal affairs, currently serving as a senior adviseur omgevingsontwikkeling at Gemeente Peel en Maas since September 2007, focusing on policy development and the implementation of the Omgevingswet. Previously, René held the role of jurist vergunningen, toezicht en handhaving, where responsibilities included legal assessments and representation in procedures. Between March 2000 and August 2007, René worked at Gemeente Veghel as coördinator belastingen and WOZ, overseeing the execution of the Wet WOZ. Earlier experience includes roles at Eiffel as jurist WOZ and municipal taxes, as well as handling WOZ-bezwaarschriften at Kafi Advies. René Kees earned a master's degree in Dutch law with a specialization in constitutional and administrative law from Tilburg University, complemented by early education at Bisschoppelijk College.
