Mingchee Tan

Mingchee Tan is a Principal Scientist at GenEdit since 2018. Prior to that, they worked as a Researcher at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) from 2016 to 2018. Mingchee also served as the CTO at Dynamic Boundaries Inc. from 2015 to 2016, where they compiled an initial GMP-like schema for chemical synthesis and actively engaged in pitch presentations and entrepreneurial competitions.

Mingchee Tan holds a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Binghamton University, which was obtained from 2005 to 2009. Following this, Mingchee completed a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Biomedical/Medical Engineering at Cornell University from 2009 to 2015. Additionally, Mingchee has also obtained the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) certification from the National Council of Examiners for Engineering and Surveying (NCEES) in 2009.
