Joseph Thompson

Joseph Thompson has worked in various roles within the healthcare and biotechnology industry. Joseph started their career in 2015 at the Mayo Clinic, where they served as a Clinical Technologist in the Molecular Genetics Laboratory until 2017. From 2017 to 2021, they worked as a Development Technologist in the Clinical Genomics Sequencing Laboratory at Mayo Clinic. In 2021, Joseph was promoted to the position of Senior Developer at Mayo Clinic, a role they held until 2023. In 2023, they joined Geneoscopy as a Product Development Scientist.

Joseph Thompson completed a Molecular Pathology Internship at Mayo Clinic Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences in 2015. Prior to that, they earned a Master of Science (MS) degree in Molecular Genetics from Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center between 2014 and 2015. Joseph also holds a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Genetics and Cell Biology from the University of Minnesota, which they obtained from 2010 to 2014.
