B2B Inside Sales Representative

Location: Preferably located in a city where there is a strong presence of footwear corporations, such as Seattle, Portland, NYC, LA or Vancouver (BC, CA).

Salary: Commission-based compensation with potential to earn equity over time

Description

Curie is looking for an B2B Inside Sales Representative who has a lot of energy and can see opportunities and turn them into long-term relationships, while ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction. Using their knowledge of products and industry trends, an Inside Sales Representative will be able to communicate directly with clients and prospects, understand their unique needs, and recommend products or services that will help them get the most value.

This role will be directly responsible for the preservation and expansion of our customer base. The candidate will handle all aspects of a customer’s experience with the company, such as through contract negotiations with new clients, market research in different industries, and new business opportunities for existing clients.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the sales cycle from finding a client to securing a deal
  • Following up with prospects several times throughout the sales cycle to ensure needs are being met
  • Forecast and monitor account metrics for each client
  • Become an expert in Curie and educate customers on the use and benefits of our services
  • Work with customers to ensure they are leveraging Curie effectively and finding value in our services
  • Manage and generate marketing and sales collateral, advertising, and web content
  • Maintain and generate leads and opportunities via advertising (LinkedIn, Google), affiliate and services marketplaces, such as AWS, Shopify, Salesforce, or Azure. 
  • Collaborate with other team members to meet customer needs and create new opportunities
  • Understand, redline, and negotiate legal contracts to close and/or effectively work with outside counsel
  • Respond to complaints and resolve issues aiming to customer contentment and the preservation of the company’s reputation

Requirements

  • Proven track record of sustaining & growing complex relationships including contract management
  • The drive and energy to manage multiple accounts while looking for new opportunities
  • Ability to understand client needs and handle the negotiation process
  • Ability to align internal resources to meet customer requirements and deadlines
  • Customer service experience to handle clients and customers from different industries and backgrounds
  • Extensive experience working in a startup environment
  • Excellent communication/presentation skills and ability to build relationships

Nice to Have

  • Experience using Airtable software for sales funnel automation and project management
  • Comprehensive and current knowledge of company offerings and industry trends (Spatial, Generative, NERF, Gaussian Splatting, LLMs, Diffusion, etc.)
