Omkar Nagendra

Omkar Nagendra is a seasoned engineering professional with a strong background in clean energy and software engineering. Currently serving as the Director of Engineering for Clean Energy at Generac Power Systems, Omkar previously held various roles at Tesla, including Staff Software Engineer, Sr Software Engineer, and Manufacturing Test Engineer. Early career experience includes an internship in Hardware Engineering at Google and a position as Engineer in the System Engineering Group at Captronic Systems Pvt Ltd. Omkar possesses a Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering from Boston University (2015-2017) and a Bachelor’s Degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering from Visvesvaraya Technological University (2008-2012).
