Andrea Johnson

Andrea Johnson has extensive experience in software engineering and project management. Andrea worked at General Dynamics C4 Systems as the DMR Project Lead, where they managed all engineering activities for the design, development, test, and maintenance of a state-of-the-art Software Defined Radio used by the U.S. Navy and other Department of Defense platforms. Prior to that, they served as the Software Task Lead and DMR Customer Service & Support Manager at the same company.

Before joining General Dynamics, Andrea worked at Motorola as a Senior Software Engineer, where they played a key role in the design, development, and maintenance of new navigation system products. Andrea was also responsible for implementing on-site product launches throughout the U.S.

Additionally, they have experience as a Teaching/Lab Assistant at Iowa State University, where they assisted with teaching MS Visual C++ classes and coached individual students. At Hewitt Associates, they worked as a Web and Application Developer, gathering software requirements, creating and managing internal web pages, and collaborating with the CFO to create financial reports.

Andrea Johnson obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Management Information Systems, with a minor in Accounting, from Iowa State University in 2000. Andrea then pursued a Master of Science degree in Engineering, specifically in Software Engineering, at Arizona State University from 2005 to 2008.
