Suzanne Smith

Suzanne Smith is a Senior System Engineer at General Dynamics Mission Systems since September 2020, with experience on projects such as SDA, ILLUMA-T, and Landsat 8/9. Previously, Suzanne worked as a Graduate Research Assistant at NASA Goddard Space Flight Center from May 2015 to April 2021, focusing on Earth's magnetosphere and participating in the MMS mission involving magnetic reconnection studies. Additional roles include Instrument Team Member at NASA, GEM Student Representative for the National Science Foundation, Graduate Teaching Assistant at The Catholic University of America, and research positions during education. Suzanne holds a Ph.D. and a Master’s degree in Physics, as well as Bachelor's degrees in Physics and Astronomy from Lycoming College.
