Sonny Nguyen

Sonny Nguyen is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in electrical engineering, particularly within military vehicle programs at General Dynamics. Serving as a Senior Engineering Specialist since June 2012, Sonny leads teams in the design and delivery of electrical harnesses for the Stryker ECP program, successfully completing Technical Data Packages for multiple variants. Prior experience as an Engineering Specialist and Senior Engineer includes leading electrical design efforts for the Stryker Double V Hull program and the Stryker Mortar Carrier, Medical Evacuation, and Nuclear, Biological, and Chemical Reconnaissance vehicles. Sonny began the career with a solid foundation in engineering roles that involved designing systems for the M1A1-D Tank and troubleshooting issues for the M1A2 Abrams Tank. Sonny holds a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering with a focus on Power Electronics from Wright State University.
