Head Of Marketing Communications at General Medical Council

Andrea Bardelli Danieli has extensive work experience in marketing communications and external affairs. Andrea is currently the Head of Marketing Communications at the General Medical Council since October 2016. Prior to that, from 2014 to 2016, they were the Director of Marketing and Communications at Franklin University Switzerland, where they developed and implemented a comprehensive marketing communications strategy and led a rebranding project for the institution. Before that, from 2013 to 2014, they served as the Head of Communications and Conferences at COST - European Cooperation in Science and Technology. From 2004 to 2011, they worked as the External Affairs Manager at the School of Environment and Development (SED) - The University of Manchester. Andrea'scareer began in 1998 as a Communications Consultant at Alliance Sud, where they worked until 2002.

Andrea Bardelli Danieli earned a Diploma di Laurea (Bachelor's Degree) in Communication Studies and Performing Arts from Alma Mater Studiorum – Università di Bologna, starting in 1992 and completing in 2001. Following this, Andrea pursued a PhD in Development Policy and Management at The University of Manchester, which began in 2003 and ended in 2011.
