Lei Dong

Lei Dong is currently the HR Director for China at 通用汽车 since December 2021. Prior to this role, Lei Dong spent over 18 years at Solvay, holding various positions including Change Management Lead, where responsibilities included leading group-wide transformational programs and developing change & engagement strategies. Earlier roles at Solvay encompassed HR Director positions in multiple divisions and a Marketing Director role for the Asia Pacific region. Before joining Solvay, Lei Dong was a Senior Buyer at Bayer, starting in Beijing and later moving to Shanghai. Academic qualifications include an Executive Master in Consulting and Coaching for Changes from INSEAD and a Bachelor’s degree in Polymer Science from Nanjing University.
