Martin Jankowiak

Martin Jankowiak has a diverse work experience in the field of machine learning and research. Martin is currently working as a Principal ML Scientist at Generate Biomedicines since November 2022. Prior to this, they were a Machine Learning Fellow at the Broad Institute of MIT and Harvard from June 2020 to November 2022, where they focused on probabilistic machine learning and bioinformatics. Before that, Martin served as a Senior Research Scientist at Uber from March 2017 to June 2020. Martin also worked as a Machine Learning Consultant at Geometric Intelligence Inc. from September 2016 to January 2017. Martin began their career as a Research Scientist at the NYU Center for Urban Science and Progress from October 2014 to August 2016. Martin also worked as a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Institute for Theoretical Physics, University of Heidelberg from October 2012 to September 2014.

Martin Jankowiak completed their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Theoretical Particle Physics from Stanford University between 2007 and 2012. Prior to that, they attended the University of Chicago from 2003 to 2007, although the degree obtained and field of study are unspecified.
