Senior Machine Learning Scientist at Generate Biomedicines

Vincent Frappier is a seasoned machine learning scientist currently serving as a Senior Machine Learning Scientist at Generate Biomedicines, Inc. since April 2019, following roles as Machine Learning Scientist II and Machine Learning Scientist. Prior experience includes a postdoctoral fellowship at the Montreal Institute for Learning Algorithms (MILA) and another at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), where significant contributions involved the identification of conserved interactions in structural protein-peptide complexes and the development of statistical models related to structure-sequence relations. Academic achievements include a PhD in Biochemistry/Bioinformatics from Université de Sherbrooke, where Vincent developed and validated a sequence-based Normal Mode Analysis model, ENCoM. Additional entrepreneurial experience includes cofounding FourWaves, an online platform for scientific events.
