Ben Comston has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Ben started their career at YRC National Transportation as a Field Engineer, where they developed standard operating procedures, designed dock layouts, and trained field personnel.

Ben then joined Sterling Jewelers, where they held various positions. As a Senior Analyst, they built financial models and monitored spend for $2B in credit sales. Ben later became the Manager of Credit Financial Forecasting, overseeing a team and managing a $50M operating budget. In their most recent role at Sterling Jewelers as the Director of Credit Workforce Management & Strategic Projects, they led a team in forecasting call center demand, optimizing efficiencies, and launching a Project Management Office.

More recently, Ben joined Genesis Financial Solutions as the Director of Operations, Workforce Management, where they led a team in optimizing workforce management and client programs across multiple locations. Ben has successfully balanced service level agreements with cost targets and implemented performance-based scheduling.

Ben Comston has a strong educational background, with degrees from three prestigious institutions. Ben began their education in 2002 at The Ohio State University, where they earned their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Industrial & Systems Engineering in 2006. After completing their undergraduate studies, Ben enrolled at Kent State University in 2008 and obtained a Master of Arts (MA) degree in Financial Economics in 2010. Ben then pursued their Doctor of Law (JD) degree at The University of Akron, graduating in 2017.
