Marie Zamanis

Principal Research Associate at Genmab

Marie Zamanis has a strong background in scientific research and laboratory work. Marie started their career in 2013 as a Chemistry & Biology Learning Assistant at Brookdale Community College. Marie then gained experience as a Histology Technician at LifeCell Corporation from 2014 to 2015. After that, they worked as a Histology Technologist at Bristol-Myers Squibb (Aerotek Contractor) from 2015 to 2016. In 2017, they joined MedImmune as an R&D Research Associate Scientist. Marie then moved on to The Janssen Pharmaceutical Companies of Johnson & Johnson in 2018, where they worked as a Scientist IV until 2019. Marie then joined Invicro, A Konica Minolta Company as a Senior Associate Scientist from 2019 to 2020. Since 2020, they have been working at Genmab, first as a Sr. Research Associate Scientist and currently as a Principal Research Associate.

Marie Zamanis completed their Master's Degree in Tumor Biology from Georgetown University from 2016 to 2017. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Biochemistry from Albright College, where they studied from 2009 to 2013. Marie's high school education took place at Colts Neck High School, although the exact years of attendance are unknown. Additionally, they have obtained certifications in Project Management, including a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute in May 2023, and a Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) certification, also from the Project Management Institute, in April 2023.
