Medical Science Liaison at Genomind

Dr. Gabriela Williams joined the clinical team at Genomind in 2020 and serves as the Medical Science Liaison (MSL) in the Great Lakes/Midwest region. In her position as an MSL, Dr. Williams has an integral role in providing pharmacogenetic clinical consultations and supporting the growth of Genomind’s clinical and technological platforms and services.

Dr. Williams is a 2013 PharmD graduate from the Purdue University College of Pharmacy, where she also received a minor in psychology. Following graduation, she completed her PGY-1 Pharmacy Practice Residency at Northwestern Memorial Hospital in Chicago, IL and her PGY-2 Psychiatric Pharmacy Residency with Purdue University/Eskenazi Health in Indianapolis, IN. She is a board certified pharmacotherapy specialist and psychiatric pharmacist.

Her professional background includes providing clinical pharmacy services within the inpatient mental health arena, where she worked closely with interdisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care to those with serious mental illness. After years of seeing the successes and hardships her patients faced during the treatment of their mental illnesses, her interests in advancing the field of psychiatric care and psychiatric medication management led her to her career at Genomind.
