Xavier Cortina

Xavier Cortina is a seasoned marketing professional with extensive experience in the financial services, fintech, and consumer goods sectors. Currently serving as Director de Marketing at Gentera since January 2024, Xavier previously held the position of Head of Marketing - Servicios Financieros at BanCoppel from February 2018 to June 2023, where responsibilities included leading a large marketing team, developing integrated marketing campaigns, and establishing brand positioning in Mexico and the US. Prior roles include Director Comercial at Flux Financiera, Marketing Manager at Pays Coronado, Sr Brand Manager at Bayer, and corporate marketing roles at Grupo Bimbo. Xavier holds an MBA specializing in Marketing Direcctor from NEXT, a Master’s degree in Imagineering from Breda University, and a degree in Business Management with a focus on Marketing from Universidad Iberoamericana.
