Prior to this, Jo worked as a Strategic Marketing Advisor/Consultant, collaborating with various businesses on strategies to build and grow their brands. Jo has also held senior leadership roles at companies such as The Reject Shop, Target Australia, MYER, Medibank, Cotton On Group, and Sensis, where they were responsible for customer and brand strategy, marketing communications, digital transformation, and driving commercial outcomes. Jo is known for their expertise in customer-centric marketing and digital strategies, as well as their ability to drive growth, innovation, and operational efficiencies.

Jo Manderson holds a degree in Business with a focus on Marketing from RMIT University. They have also obtained additional certifications including "Understanding Mental Health" from genU Training in 2023 and the "ADMA WFH Marketing Masterclass" from ADMA in 2020.
