Nathan Smith

Nathan Smith has a diverse work experience in software development and instruction. Nathan started their career as a Software Engineer at Brain Murmurs, Inc in 2005, where they extended network-based applications and performed unit testing. Nathan also wrote executive summaries, developed business plans, and created presentations for investors.

In 2007, Nathan joined Alert Generator, LLC as a Software Engineer and worked until 2009. Nathan then worked as a Tango Instructor at Bali Tango Club from 2010 to 2011.

Nathan gained experience as a Software Developer at Snipesoft Ltd from 2012 to 2013. Nathan also worked as a Backend Web Developer for the United Nations during the same year. In 2013, Nathan joined Sirqul, Inc. as a Software Developer.

From 2014, Nathan worked for General UI as a Senior Web Application Developer, specializing in Node.js fullstack development and Java development in the Spring Framework.

In 2016, Nathan became the Lead Instructor at Montana Code School, where they trained engineers with no experience in a Node, Mongo, Redux, React stack. Nathan also collaborated in designing the curriculum. Nathan held this role until 2017.

Nathan Smith attended the University of Washington in 2013 but did not complete a degree or field of study. Prior to that, they attended Grinnell College from 2001 to 2005, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science.
