Derek Hummel

Derek Hummel has extensive experience in retirement benefits and investment analysis. Derek is currently the Director of Retirement Benefits at Genuine Parts Company since October 2022. Prior to that, they worked as a Retirement Plan Consultant at Equitable for almost nine years, from November 2013 to October 2022. Before that, they served as a Major Accounts Retirement Services District Manager at ADP Retirement Services from July 2007 to November 2013. Additionally, Derek worked as a Retirement Plan Sales Consultant at John Hancock Retirement Plan Services from 2003 to 2007, and as a Senior Investment Analyst at Mercer Investment Consulting from 2000 to 2003. Derek began their career as an Investment Analyst at Invesco Ltd. in 1997.

Derek Hummel holds a Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) degree in Finance and Financial Management Services from the University of Georgia - Terry College of Business.
