Brendan Keough is a seasoned research scientist with extensive experience in biotechnology and molecular biology. Currently serving as a Research Scientist at Genus PLC since February 2017 and as Manager of NGS Services at Lucigen Corp. since August 2013, Brendan has focused on the construction of custom large insert clone libraries. Prior roles include Scientist positions at ioGenetics and eMetagen Corporation, where Brendan contributed to pharmaceutical discovery through molecular biology and organic chemistry. Brendan began professional training as a Research Assistant at Michigan State University, enhancing technology for the creation of Bacterial Artificial Chromosome libraries. The academic foundation includes a Bachelor of Science from Marquette University and a Master of Science in Biology from the University of Minnesota Duluth, where thesis research on picoplankton diversity led to a published study.
