Kathryn Clifton

Kathryn Clifton, GISP, currently serves as a Senior GIS Analyst at Geographic Technologies Group, starting in October 2023. Kathryn has extensive experience in GIS and related fields, having owned KATTRAKS since January 1997, where professional website design and content management are provided. Previously, Kathryn worked as a GIS Analyst/Developer for the County of Davidson from December 2015 to October 2023, and as Land Management Director for the Town of Spencer, North Carolina, from June 2014 to December 2015. From June 1999 to June 2014, Kathryn coordinated GIS efforts for the City of Salisbury, focusing on training and organization of decentralized GIS implementation. Kathryn has also contributed to academia as an Adjunct Instructor at Catawba College in early 2010, teaching an Introduction to GIS course. Kathryn holds a Master of City & Regional Planning from Clemson University and a Bachelor of Arts in Environmental Science and Management Information Systems from Catawba College.
