Jaro Kuikka is a geologist at the Geological Survey of Finland (GTK), specializing in battery minerals, exploration, and hyperspectral imaging since February 2018. Prior to this role, Jaro served as a geologist trainee focused on battery minerals and held a position in Corporate Geodata Management, concentrating on geodata and 3D modeling. Jaro's earlier experience includes being a research assistant at the University of Helsinki, where involvement in a seismic station network project included data analysis and fieldwork. Additionally, Jaro worked as a junior geologist and summer geologist at Endomines, performing tasks such as drill core logging and quarry sampling. Jaro obtained a Master's degree in Petrology and economic geology from the University of Helsinki in 2016.
