Bruce Neal

Scientific Director at George Clinical

Bruce Neal has extensive work experience in the medical field. Bruce is currently the Scientific Director and Manager of the Medical and Scientific Liaison Group at George Clinical. Bruce is also the Senior Director at The George Institute for Global Health and a Professor of Medicine at the University of Sydney. Before joining The George Institute in 1999, Bruce worked as an epidemiologist at the Clinical Trials Research Unit in Auckland, New Zealand, where they completed their PhD in Medicine.

Bruce Neal has a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MB ChB) degree from the University of Bristol, United Kingdom, earned in 1990. In 1993, they obtained the Membership of the Royal College of Physicians (MRCP) from the same institution. Later, in 2000, Neal completed a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Medicine from the University of Auckland, New Zealand. Subsequently, they received the Fellowship of the Royal College of Physicians (FRCP) in 2007 from the Royal College of Physicians, United Kingdom. Finally, also in 2007, Neal attained the Fellow of the American Heart Association (FAHA) certification from the American Heart Association in the United States.
