Kathleen Vaughn has extensive work experience in various roles related to community development and grant management. Kathleen has served as an Office Director and Compliance Manager at the Georgia Department of Community Affairs, where they provided technical assistance and guidance on compliance requirements and delivered presentations on CDBG compliance matters. Prior to that, they worked as a Grants Administrator at the City of South Fulton, where they assisted with proposal preparation and budget modification for grant projects. Kathleen also worked as a Senior Program Specialist at WFN Consulting, Inc., where they managed county compliance with Federal Grant Programs and directed grants management monitoring activities. Earlier in their career, they held roles such as Disaster Program Manager, Logistics Coordinator, and Health Specialist I at the American Red Cross, where they were involved in program/service delivery, equipment coordination, inventory management, and health training.
Kathleen Vaughn earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Biology, General from Georgia Southern University in the years 1998-2004. Kathleen later pursued a Master of Public Administration (M.P.A.) degree in Emergency Management from Jacksonville State University during 2011-2014.
