Tina Herring has a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of economic development. Tina started their career as an Economic Development Specialist at the South Georgia Regional Commission in April 2004 and worked there until March 2007. Following this, they joined the Brooks County Development Authority in April 2007 as the Director and held this position until October 2015. Tina then moved on to the Georgia Department of Economic Development, where they have held various positions since November 2015. These positions include Project Manager in Region 5, Senior Project Manager in Region 10, and currently, they work as the Assistant Director of the Existing Industry and Regional Recruitment Team.
Tina Herring completed their Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Valdosta State University from 2000 to 2003.
