Alexandra Campos Castillo, MPA

Alexandra Campos Castillo has a diverse range of work experience, starting with their current role as a Program Manager at the Georgia Municipal Association. Prior to this, they served as the Equity Program Director for the Latino Association for Parents of Public Schools, where they created and launched the organization's model and membership structure. Alexandra also developed workshops on parents' rights in education and inequity in education.

Before that, Alexandra worked as an Area Executive for the Girl Scouts of Greater Atlanta, managing programming and volunteers for specific areas. Alexandra developed community-specific recruitment and retention plans and provided ongoing support to members.

Alexandra also has experience with the Latin American Association, where they served as the Education Program Manager and Youth Program Coordinator. In these roles, they managed afterschool and mentoring programs, maintained relationships with schools and partners, and redesigned and expanded the Latino Youth Leadership Academy Mentoring Program.

Prior to that, they worked as a Diversity Peer Educator for the Office of Inclusive Excellence at Georgia College. In this role, they facilitated discussions, conducted workshops and training on issues of diversity, and collaborated with student organizations and resources to create learning opportunities on campus.

Alexandra Campos Castillo, MPA obtained a Masters of Public Administration degree from The University of Georgia from 2018 to 2021. Prior to their postgraduate studies, they completed their undergraduate education at Georgia College & State University between 2012 and 2016. Alexandra earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree with a major in English Literature, as well as minors in Spanish Language and Latin American & Latino Studies.
