Library and Information Services

The Library and Information Services team at Georgia Public Library Service is dedicated to enhancing library accessibility and resource distribution across the state. This team supports public libraries through professional consulting, training, and facilities support, while also managing key programs like the Georgia Library Public Information Network for Electronic Services (PINES) and the Georgia Library Service for the Blind and Print Disabled (GLS). Additionally, they focus on youth services and outreach to ensure equitable access to information and reading materials for all Georgians.
