Tony Peng

Tony Peng is a seasoned development engineer with extensive experience in algorithm development, database design, and cross-functional team leadership. Currently at Geospace Technologies since November 2018, Tony developed algorithms in Python for sensor system modeling and created a MySQL database for data analysis. Previously, as a senior engineer at PGS from 2007 to November 2018, Tony led a project for an integrated photonic DWDM module, enhancing signal processing operations. Tony's earlier roles included research scientist at Cellular Materials International and research engineer at Prime Photonics LC, where contributions were made in materials engineering and fiber-optic sensor development. Tony holds a Ph.D. in Materials Engineering from the University of Maryland, along with a Master's degree in Physics from National Cheng Kung University and a Bachelor's degree in Physics from National Tsing Hua University.
