Nick Helberg

Nick Helberg has a background in materials engineering and has gained experience working in various positions in the aerospace and engineering industry. In 2013, they worked as a Student Materials Test Engineer at COMTEC where they directed testing projects, designed and fabricated custom fixtures, and machined test specimens. Nick then joined SpaceX in 2015 as a Propulsion Engineering Intern, where they conducted research and development on high temperature composites, developed new manufacturing techniques, and collaborated with engineers on tooling design. In 2016, Nick joined GEOTEK LLC as a Composite Materials Engineer, responsible for working with composite materials. Nick later transitioned to the role of Sr. Applications Engineer, where they currently is involved in various applications and projects.

From 2012 to 2016, Nick Helberg attended Winona State University and studied Composite Materials Engineering.
