Michael Roland Sven Halbherr

Michael Roland Sven Halbherr has held a variety of roles in various companies. In 2021, they became a Member of the Board of Directors of Vontobel. In 2019, they were elected to the Board of Directors of Zurich Insurance Company Ltd. In 2016, they co-founded and became Chairman of the Board of Directors of German Bionic, and in the same year they became President of the Board of Trustees of the ifmo Institute for Mobility Research. In 2015, they became an Investor and Chairman of the Board of Directors of FATMAP, and an Advisor and Investor of zeotap. In 2021, they became an Investor and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Nanoleq, and in 2022 they accepted the appointment as Chairman of the Board of Directors of ABB e-Mobility.

Michael Roland Sven Halbherr received their Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering from ETH Zürich in 1990. From 1991 to 1995, they pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Computer Science and Electrical Engineering at ETH Zürich. Michael Roland Sven also served as a Visiting Scientist and Postdoc at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology from 1992 to 1994, studying Massively Parallel Computing. In 2017, they began a Master's degree in Public/Applied Theirtory at the University of Zurich, which they are expected to complete in 2023.
