Michael Chunn, MBA has a diverse work experience spanning over several industries and roles. Michael began their career at Northland Communications, where they worked as a Traffic and Billing Coordinator and later as a Technical Support-IT Services, and Manager-IT Services. Michael then joined Hall Kinion as a Project Manager before working at AT&T as a Product Manager/Sr. New Technology Product Development Engineer, and later as a Project Manager/Sr. Analyst. After that, they joined Energy Northwest as a Supervisor-IS Infrastructure/Operations and then transitioned to AEGIS Team Crossfit as a Trainer/Coach. Michael also worked as a Coach/Trainer at RSA Crossfit and later became the Owner of Die Empty Crossfit. In 2014, they joined Pacific Lutheran University's School of Business Executive Advisory Board. In 2015, they became a Trainer/Coach at AEGIS Team Crossfit. From 2018 to 2019, they served as the Director of Technology-End User Support at Gesa Credit Union before being promoted to Assistant Vice President-End User Technologies. In their current role, they serve as Assistant Vice President of Infrastructure and Operations at Gesa Credit Union. Throughout their career, they have demonstrated expertise in IT operations, infrastructure management, project management, and leadership.

Michael Chunn holds a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree in Management, Operations, Finance, and Technology from Pacific Lutheran University, which they obtained from 1994 to 1997. Michael pursued further education at the Pacific Lutheran University - School of Business and earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a concentration in Technology and Innovation Management from 2001 to 2003.

In 2014 and 2017, Michael attended the MIT Sloan School of Management, where they completed an Executive Certificate in Management and Leadership, as well as an Executive Certificate in Technology, Operations, and Value Chain Management. From 2014 to 2017, they also completed various short-term courses at the same institution, studying subjects such as Transforming Your Leadership Strategy, Supply Chain Strategy and Management, Understanding and Solving Complex Business Problems, Creating High Velocity Organizations, Strategic Cost Analysis for Managers, and Implementing Improvement Strategies: Practical Tools and Methods.

In February 2022, Michael obtained several certifications, including Change Leadership, IT Service Management Foundations: Tools, Performance Management: Conducting Performance Reviews, and Putting ITIL Into Practice: Applying ITIL 3 Foundation Concepts, which were acquired from LinkedIn. Additionally, in March 2017, they received an Executive Certificate in Management and Leadership and an Executive Certificate in Technology, Operations, and Value Chain Management from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology - Sloan School of Management.
