Andrea Giacchero

Andrea Giacchero has extensive work experience in the field of ICT (Information and Communication Technology) and digital transformation. Andrea currently holds the position of CIO (Chief Information Officer) at Gessi since 2023. Prior to this, they worked at Stellantis as part of the Office of the Global Convergence ICT&Digital CIO team from 2021 to 2023.

Andrea's previous experience also includes working at FCA Fiat Chrysler Automobiles, where they held various roles. From 2018 to 2023, they served as the ICT Vehicle Assembly and Industry 4.0 Responsable, responsible for supporting production in FCA Vehicle Plants across different regions. This involved overseeing shop floor automation, manufacturing execution system governance, equipment monitoring, and efficiency. In addition, they worked as an ICT Reference for the Digital Manufacturing program, aiming to improve digitization levels in plants.

Earlier in their career, Andrea worked as an Industry 4.0 Responsable, focusing on digital manufacturing initiatives. Andrea also served as an ICT Business Center Manager, ensuring the smooth operation of the ICT department and coordinating activities aligned with the organization's objectives. Moreover, they have experience as an ICT Industrial Launches Manager and Manufacturing Execution System Project Manager, leading projects related to quality manufacturing, equipment efficiency calculation, production flow control management, and in-plant logistics.

Andrea Giacchero's initial role at FCA Fiat Chrysler Automobiles was as an ICT Quality & Methodologies Specialist. Andrea served as an organizational change manager during the implementation of new SAP systems, supporting key business processes such as finance, controlling, project management, supply chain, HR, and procurement.
