Finbarr Taylor

Finbarr Taylor is currently the CEO at Shogun. Prior to this, they were with Pebble Tech as a software contractor from January 2015 to April 2015. There, they built software to manage the Pebble Time Kickstarter campaign. From October 2013 to April 2014, Finbarr was also with Pebble Tech as a software contractor where they built software to manage orders and fulfillments. Exec, Inc. was their next previous company where they served as a Senior Backend Engineer from August 2012 to September 2013. There, their duties included full stack web development including javascript driven web UIs, devising and implementing scheduling and availability algorithms, creating backend APIs, re-architecting payment systems, writing rspec tests, etc. Finbarr delivered on many projects in this challenging and fast paced environment. Finbarr was also a Member of Technical Staff at Groupon from October 2011 to August 2012. Videoplaza was their next previous company where they served as a Systems Developer from June 2010 to September 2010. Their first professional role was as a researcher at the University of Strathclyde from June 2008 to September 2008. Lastly, Finbarr served as CTO at Giveit100 from September 2013 to December 2014.

Finbarr Taylor has a Master of Engineering with distinction in Computer Science from the University of Strathclyde.
