Todd Fisher

Todd Fisher has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Todd started their career in 2006 as an IT Technical Support at Southern Utah University, where they maintained computer systems and assisted users with various technical issues. In 2009, Todd joined TouchMD as a Lead Software Engineer and Director/VP of Software Engineering, leading the technical evolution of the company's product and building custom content management systems for doctors to educate their patients.

In 2012, Todd began working as an Adjunct Professor at Southern Utah University, teaching web design/development courses and courses on technology in business. Todd then transitioned to self-employment in 2005, taking on various web development projects using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, and other technologies.

In 2018, Todd joined Pluralsight, where they held multiple roles over the years. Todd started as a Senior Software Engineer, working in an autonomous, cross-functional team and following Test Driven Development practices. Todd then became a Principal Software Engineer, contributing to various initiatives within the company, such as apprentice/internship programs, hiring processes, and software engineering onboarding. Todd also engaged in pair and mob programming with fellow engineers, providing guidance to team members and holding regular conversations with leadership.

During their time at Pluralsight, Todd also served as the Acting Vice President of the Technology Center of Excellence for a brief period. Finally, in 2023, they were appointed Chief Technology Officer at Verdi.
