Mike Brutinel, MHR, has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Mike started their career as an Administrative Assistant at Imaging Concepts of Utah, where they provided executive assistance and later transitioned into an administrative role supporting the sales team.
Mike then joined the University of Utah, where they served as a Teaching Assistant for Social Psychology and a Research Assistant in the College of Social & Behavioral Science - Department of Psychology. Mike also worked as a Human Factors Research Assistant in the Cognition and Neural Sciences lab.
After their time at the University, Mike worked as a Site Manager and Relief Manager at Towne Storage, where they managed one of the busiest self-storage locations in the company. Mike also played an active role in improving their social image through increasing social media reviews.
Following their experience at Towne Storage, Mike joined Imaging Concepts LLC as an Office Manager, overseeing the day-to-day operations of the office. Mike then became a People Operations Generalist at Ancestry, where they implemented a ticketing queue system and led the adoption of agile methodology to improve planning and prioritization. Mike later transitioned into the role of People Ops Technology Partner/HRIS Analyst, focusing on Workday.
Currently, Mike is working as a People Operations Manager at Weave.
Mike Brutinel, MHR received their Master of Human Resources (MHR) degree from Utah State University in 2018. Prior to that, in 2017, they obtained a Human Resources Professional Certificate from the University of Houston, specializing in Human Resources Management/Personnel Administration. Mike'sBachelor's Degree in Psychology was earned from the University of Utah between 2010 and 2016.
