Andreas Augustin

Andreas Augustin has a strong background in engineering and innovation management. Andreas started their career as a Mechanical Engineer at KRAL GmbH in 1997 and worked there until 2000. Andreas then joined Getzner, where they held various positions starting as a QA-Manager and Mechanical Test Engineer from 2000 to 2002. Andreas then became the Head of Quality Management from 2003 to 2005, followed by a role as the Head of System Development and R&D from 2006 to 2008. Andreas was then promoted to Senior Vice President of R&D & Engineering Services and became a member of the Management Board from 2008 to 2017. Their most recent role at Getzner is in Innovation Management, Global Cooperations, and Strategic Corporate Projects, starting in January 2018.

Andreas Augustin completed their education at Fachhochschule Vorarlberg University of Applied Sciences in Austria from 2002 to 2004. Andreas obtained a degree as an Academic Product Development Manager during this period. Prior to that, they attended HTL - Bregenz School for Mechanical Engineering / Automation Engineering from 1991 to 1996, where they received an Engineer degree.
