Joel Tirado-Conde

Joel Tirado-Conde is an experienced researcher in hydrology and water resources, currently serving as a Postdoctoral Researcher in the Nret24 project at GEUS since November 2022, focusing on nitrate retention modeling for Denmark. Prior expertise includes roles as a Groundwater/Modeling Specialist at COWI, where Joel engaged in groundwater flow and heat transport modeling for geothermal facilities, and as a Research and Development Engineer at DHI, concentrating on integrated groundwater and surface water modeling for mining applications. Joel's academic background includes a PhD in Hydrology and Water Resources Science from Københavns Universitet, along with visiting fellowships in leading institutions in Europe and Australia. Early career experience encompasses consulting and research assistance roles that solidified expertise in hydrogeochemistry and groundwater analysis.
