Joe Ortega has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Joe is currently working at Gigamon as the Director of WW Distribution since January 2021. In this role, they have been responsible for managing global distribution strategies. Prior to that, they worked as the Sr. Manager of Americas Distribution at Gigamon from January 2019, where they played a crucial role in delivering network visibility and analytics solutions.

Before joining Gigamon, Joe held the position of Sr. Channel Manager for the North Central Region at Gigamon from December 2014. Joe has also worked at Nimble Storage as the North Central Region Channel Manager from August 2013 to October 2014, where they contributed to the development of a unique branding process and successfully enlisted strategic reseller partners.

Joe's previous experience includes a role at Arrow ECS EMEA as a BSS, where they were responsible for the growth and development of CDW's IBM's Business Portfolio and overseeing sales enablement and forecasting. Joe also worked at NetApp as the Channel Development Manager for CDW from September 2007 to February 2012, and at EdgeWave as a Channel Development Manager from March 2006 to September 2007.

Prior to their career in the tech industry, Joe had their own business as the President/Owner of JM3 Solutions Inc from 2001 to 2006. Joe also worked as a Senior Account Executive at Comark from March 1996 to 2001 and started their career as an Account Manager at CDW from 1994 to 1996.

Before entering the corporate world, Joe served as a Non-Commissioned Officer E-4 in the United States Marine Corps from 1986 to 1990. Joe Ortega has built a strong foundation of experience in sales, channel management, and business development throughout their career.

Joe Ortega obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Communication from Southern Illinois University, Carbondale. Joe attended the university from 1990 to 1994.
