Mark San Agustin has a diverse and extensive work experience. Mark started in 1998 as a Data NOC Technician at Cingular Wireless, providing support to field engineers and customer service. Mark then moved on to the role of Network Technical Support Engineer, where they established initial connectivity for customers and provided engineering and design support for various data network components. In 2001, they became a Data Network Engineer, responsible for analyzing requirements and designing the Cingular Wireless Data MOBITEX network infrastructure.

In 2005, Mark joined Verizon Wireless as a Data Services Engineer - Project Manager. Mark led major national projects, such as the implementation of LTE and the conversion of the network backbone from ATM to MPLS. Mark successfully managed teams of engineers and ensured core connectivity for LTE rollout. Mark held this role until 2009.

After that, Mark worked at Verizon in different roles and responsibilities. From 2010 to 2013, they served as a Member Technical Staff - Network (Data Services Engineer), where they were responsible for the Northeast Backbone transport network and provided support to regional teams. Mark also participated in knowledge transfer sessions and ensured compliance with network standards.

From 2012 to 2014, Mark was a Principle Member Technical Staff at Verizon, leading interoperability testing and designing VPN solutions for internal and external lab access. Mark led a team of engineers responsible for testing new applications and services.

In 2014, Mark took on the role of DMTS - Wireless Product Delivery at Verizon, where they were responsible for enhancing the customer experience through network design, implementation, and maintenance. Mark developed Methods of Procedures (MOPs) and supported software-driven requirements.

Most recently, Mark joined Gigamon in 2019 as a Principal Professional Services Engineer before being promoted to Manager, Resident Engineering Services in 2021. Unfortunately, the end date for this role is not provided.

Mark San Agustin obtained an Associate's degree in Telecommunications Management from DeVry University, which they completed from 1998 to 1999. Mark later pursued a Bachelor's degree in Technical Management from DeVry University, completing it from 2005 to 2006. In addition to their formal education, Mark also obtained a certification in Learning Cloud Computing: Networking from LinkedIn in October 2020.
