Alanna M.

Alanna M. has a diverse work experience in various roles within the housing finance industry. Alanna currently serves as the President of Ginnie Mae since December 2021. Prior to that, they worked as the Senior Advisor for Housing Finance at the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development from January 2021 to December 2021.

From 2016 to 2021, Alanna M. held multiple roles at the Urban Institute, including Vice President of the Housing Finance Policy Center and Executive Director of The Mortgage Servicing Collaborative. Their responsibilities involved developing housing finance policies and collaborating with government agencies, researchers, and bank regulators.

Before joining the Urban Institute, Alanna M. was the Vice President and Head of Government Solutions at CoreLogic from 2013 to 2016. In this role, they led the public sector business vertical and worked on critical data analysis and housing finance policy initiatives.

Alanna M. also gained valuable experience at J.P. Morgan Chase as a Vice President of Portfolio & Product Management from 2012 to 2013 and at Fannie Mae in various positions, including Senior Director of Servicing Portfolio Management from 2008 to 2012 and Director of Single Family Marketing Services from 2002 to 2008.

Alanna M. has a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Communications from the University of Houston. Alanna has also obtained an Executive Certificate in Nonprofit Management from Georgetown University, as well as an Executive Leadership Certificate from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). Additionally, Alanna has earned a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree from the University of Maryland. Alanna has also obtained additional certifications, including an Executive Leadership Certificate from UCLA's Anderson School of Management and a Nonprofit Management Executive Certificate from Georgetown University's McCourt School of Public Policy.
