The Role:

We are looking for a QA Engineer to develop and execute automated tests to ensure quality across our products used by over 20M developers. In this role, you'll take ownership of code quality and collaborate across the GitKraken R&D and QA teams to ensure robust test coverage for our Git productivity and collaboration tools.

What you’ll bring:

  • 2+ years of professional experience in QA engineering
  • Extensive Manual testing experience
  • Experience with responsiveness and cross-browser testing
  • Multi-OS familiarity including Windows, OS X, Linux
  • Must be able to write test plans, test cases, test data, test scenarios, and other test artifacts
  • Strong understanding of coding practices including code reviews
  • Experience developing unit, component, regression and end to end tests in Javascript/Typescript
  • Knowledge of testing libraries and frameworks like Jasmine and Playwright
  • Familiarity with Git
  • Experience using  version control, continuous integration and issue tracking tools (Git, Docker, Jenkins, JIRA)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and Spanish

Bonus points:

  • Experience with performance testing (Jmeter, K6)
  • API and contract testing (Postman)
