Eme Iniekung has held various roles in the philanthropy sector since 2014. Eme began their career as a Customer Service Executive at Etisalat Nigeria in 2014. In 2017, they became the Corporate Relations Manager at Awesome Treasures Foundation. In 2020, they took on the role of Program Coordinator at Philanthropy Circuit. In 2021, they became a Fellow at Future Africa, Co-Lead of the African Philanthropy Working Group at Catalyst 2030, Fellow at Shift The Power, Fund Committee at WINGS, and RINGO Social Lab at Rights CoLab. In 2022, they will become a Fellow at Shift The Power and Programs & Partnerships - Africa at GivingTuesday.

Eme Iniekung's education history includes a Master's degree in Diplomacy and Strategic Studies from the University of Lagos, a Bachelor's degree in International Studies and Diplomacy from the University of Benin (2005-2009), a Nonprofit Management for Senior Executives degree from the Lagos Business School, Pan-Atlantic University (2021), and an Africa Civic Engagement Academy degree from The University of Georgia (2021). Additionally, Eme Iniekung has obtained several certifications, including an Accountability Accelerator from CIVICUS: World Alliance for Citizen Participation (2022), a Global Leadership Certificate from The Global Leadership Network (2021), a Fundraising Essentials certification from DisasterReady (2021), a Grantseeking Essentials certification from NonprofitReady (2021), a Nonprofit Essentials certification from NonprofitReady (2021), a Content Marketing Certification from HubSpot Academy (2020), and an MNIM from the Nigerian Institute of Management (NIM).
