Priyanka Dutt has over 20 years of experience in the media and communications industry. Priyanka began their career in 1999 as an Assistant Director and Correspondent for TV18. In 2000, they became an Associate Producer for Wizcraft International Entertainment Pvt. Ltd. From 2001 to 2002, they worked as a Freelance Producer/Director. From 2002 to 2004, they worked for BBC World Service Trust as a Producer for Youth and a Regional Funding Advisor (Acting). In 2004, they became a Producer for Closeup Dream Job: Harsha ki Khoj at ESPN. From 2003 to 2005, they were a Producer at Channel [V], Star India Pvt Ltd. From 2005 to 2008, they worked for BBC World Service Trust as an Executive Producer for The World Debates, Program Manager and Training Advisor for Bangladesh Sanglap, and a Supervising Producer for Youth. From 2008 to 2009, they were the National Manager for Communications at Population Services International. From 2009 to 2022, they were the Country Director and Project Director, Shaping Demand and Practices in Bihar, and Associate Project Director, Shaping Demand and Practices in Bihar and Project Manager for HIV at BBC Media Action. Currently, they are the Director for the India Hub at GivingTuesday as a consultant.

Priyanka Dutt's education history includes a BA (Hons) in English from Delhi University from 1993 to 1996, followed by an MA in Film and Television Studies from the University of Warwick from 1996 to 1997. In 2017, they completed the Strategic Perspectives in Nonprofit Management program at Harvard Business School Executive Education. Priyanka also has two additional certifications from the University of Warwick.
