Tom Kraft has over 20 years of experience in the field of design. Tom began their career in 1998 at Weymouth Design as a Senior Interactive Designer and Partner and Digital Creative Director. In 2016, Tom moved to Glance Networks, where they served as Lead UI/UX Product Designer. In this role, they were responsible for ideation and art of the possible sessions to design prototypes, managed the visual look of Glance's product applications, created a design system with design tokens, planned and conducted remote usability testing, collaborated with engineering, management, customer success and product development teams, and front-end coding. Tom also conducted on-site and remote user testing of prototypes and software.
Tom Kraft has a diverse educational background. Tom attended Monroe Community College from 1980 to 1982, where they earned an Associate's Degree in Liberal and Fine Arts. Tom then attended Rochester Institute of Technology from 1982 to 1985, where they earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Graphic Design with a concentration in Communications. From 1989 to 1991, they attended Harvard Extension School and studied French Language. Additionally, they have obtained several certifications, including PMC Level IV from Pragmatic Institute in April 2022, Pragmatic Certified Product Manager from Pragmatic Institute in April 2022, PMC Level I from Pragmatic Institute in March 2022, PMC Level II from Pragmatic Institute in March 2022, Membership Certificate from The Interaction Design Foundation in February 2021, Agile Software Development from Lynda.com in April 2019, and Blasting Off With Bootstrap from Code School.
