Peter Borchers

Peter Borchers has an extensive work experience in various roles and companies. Peter is currently the Founder and Managing Partner of pbo.vc, a position they have held since December 2017. Prior to this, they served as an Affiliate Professor at ESCP Europe Business School from October 2013, where they co-founded and was the Academic Director of ESCP U-SCHOOL. Peter also has experience as the Chief Scientist at GlassDollar, a company that helps corporates integrate startup tech into their value chain, and as Co-Founder of dp4i. Additionally, they have held positions such as Senior Advisor to Allianz SE board and the Group Chief Digital Officer at Allianz, CEO of Allianz X, Founder and Head of hub:raum at Deutsche Telekom Incubator, and Board Member at frestyl Inc. Peter's early work experience includes founding and heading the Entrepreneurs Program and serving as Vice President and Member of the Executive Board at Deutsche Telekom AG - Telekom Innovation Laboratories. Peter has also served as an Advisory Board Member for the "Young Digital Economy" at Bundesministerium.

Peter Borchers completed an Executive Management Program / Leadership Excellence Program at ESMT Berlin from 2005 to 2007. Peter also studied French Literature at Université Sorbonne Nouvelle from 1995 to 1996. Peter earned a degree in Business Administration (Dipl.-Kfm.) from the University of Augsburg from 1992 to 1995, and a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from WU (Vienna University of Economics and Business) from 1990 to 1992. Additionally, they obtained a Diplôme Supérieur de Français des Affaires from Chambre de commerce et d’industrie de région Paris Ile-de-France in 1999.
